Rest assured that despite "Civilian National Security Forces", a massive effort to collect data on the citizenry, all of your most personal health care records in the hands of the IRS, and a Constitution that is routinely mocked and ignored by the President, Congress, the Judiciary and the media, we have nothing to fear.

After all, this is standard fare for a country descending from first- to third-world status.
