Suddenly Pro-War Pacifist Howard Dean Helps Feed Every Loopy Syria Conspiracy Theory Imaginable

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but the following events certainly raise some questions:

...just a month after [Obama] drew his (blurry) 'red line' on chemical weapons in Syria...

...Who knows if who, what, or anything threatened the ... Daily Mail, but the now-scrubbed story (Jan 29, 2013) sure didn't fit the Obama-supporting narrative so prevalent on our side of the pond...

In fact, the United Nations says the rebels were using chemical weapons, not the Assad regime.

...According to UN diplomat Carla del Ponte, however, it appears that the recent chemical weapons attack, in April, was carried out by the Syrian rebels and not the regime, as it had been widely assumed. Speaking to a Swiss television channel, del Ponte said that there were “strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof,” that rebels had carried out the attack. She also said UN investigators had seen no evidence of the Syrian army using chemical weapons, but that further investigation was needed...

The Daily Mail is not the only source of the reported false flag operation. No Quarter USA recently described the latest media-driven frenzy part of a PSYOPS campaign:

...It is highly unlikely that the Syrian Government authorized and ordered a chemical attack using the nerve agent Sarin against rebel strongholds in Damascus on the 21st of August. It appears that this incident was carried out, at a minimum, with the complicity of the United States and Great Britain.

An old friend who is well plugged into the area shared with me today that he learned of a meeting that took place on 15 August on Turkey’s border with Syria. It was between a Senior Turkish intelligence officer and a rebel aligned with the Free Syrian Army. A CIA officer also was attending but not “participating.” The rebel rep pressed for an urgent supply of weapons and announced, “there will shortly be an event that will lead the United States to strike inside Syria.”

Oh, and just like clockwork, the anti-war, Leftist nut Howard ("YEEEEEEHAHHHAHHHHAHHHAHAHHHAHHHHHH") Dean has transformed himself into Generalissimo Chickenhawk Dean and is now banging the drums of war.

These Leftist crackpots are the lowest of the low.

BLUE STATE DIGITAL: Is it the linchpin of the Obama campaign's foreign donor scandal?

On 30 October 2008, I wrote about a bizarre idiosyncrasy I discovered in the Obama fundraising website, which was designed by a company named Blue State Digital.

Will the innovations never cease? Yesterday I described several, eh, unique capabilities pioneered by the Obama campaign in the area of campaign contributions.

Among them, failure to do even basic credit-card validation; accepting untraceable prepaid credit cards... [etc.]

Anyhow, an anonymous tipster mentioned that checking out the source code of the Obama donation website... would reveal some interesting logic. Specifically that IP addresses of the donors can be easily spoofed through a hidden field in the form. The tipster's guess was (and I concur) that the Obama campaign is recording the spoofable IP address... not the real IP address as delivered by the web server.

It's web security 101, folks. Because IP addresses map back to the original source network (your ISP, your company, etc.), the web server's log-file records the actual source IP address of the request. They certainly don't record anything that the requester provides as the genuine address.

Put simply, there's no reason to include a hidden form field for IP address. It is there for one reason alone: IP forgery -- forging the computer addresses of donations to disguise their true sources.

The net result is that IP addresses recorded in this manner can't truly be resolved to a real location. Genius!

Just chalk it up to yet another startling innovation from the minds of the most creative geniuses on Earth. When it comes to accepting money from all comers, that is.

Ace of Spades reminded me of this outfit today when it noted a strange cleanup performed by the Obama campaign.

...when this story began leaking last week, I went back and checked on this again. The weird part? The campaign donation page had been moved from "donate.barackobama.com" to "contribute.barackobama.com". After poking around a little more, I found that donate.barackobama is being hosted by Blue State Digital. This is a firm founded by former Howard Dean 2004 staffers and they run Obama's digital operation.

Meanwhile, barackobama.com and contribute.barackobama.com are hosted by a company called Akamai Technologies out of Cambridge, Mass. As best I can tell through various caching sites, this change from "donate" to "contribute" was made sometime in the last month. The question becomes why? My suspicion is that, as the Washington Examiner claims, the White House knew this report was coming out (they actually claim the White House was trying to block it) and they were trying to fix some of these issues.

Furthermore, donate.barackobama.com is not universally forwarded to contribute.barackobama.com. You can still see some examples of old pages here:

• https://donate.barackobama.com/page/event/search_simple
• https://donate.barackobama.com/page/event/create
• https://donate.barackobama.com/page/contribute/o2012-August1RaleighReception
• https://donate.barackobama.com/page/contribute/o2012-EastEndForObama

My best guess is they are running custom 301 redirect scripts through an htaccess file. They appear to have missed redirecting some of these older pages. You can even donate through this old site. Again, why? This is sloppy and leads me to believe this was a hastily-made change with only two months remaining in the campaign.

I'm still digging into this along with a few others to see what else we can find. If you notice something, shoot me a line on twitter.

Hey, have I mentioned a company named Blue State Digital that appears to be at the nexus of this fundraising skulduggery... both in 2008 and 2012?

Their Democrat fundraising sites appear specifically designed to accept illegal donations including structured contributions to evade limits, foreign donations, anonymized prepaid cards, and so on.

Perhaps Darrell Issa could subpoena Blue State Digital's entire management and engineering teams immediately and start asking questions.

In fact, I'll write the questions for him.

Howard Dean Admits the Truth About Progressives: Overthrow of the U.S. Government Is Our Aim

It doesn't get any more plain than this interview with Howard Dean, former presidential candidate and chairman of the Democrat National Committee.

We almost came back in New Hampshire, Karen Hicks, who ran Hillary’s campaign, she’s a disciple of Marshall Ganz who’s a disciple of Saul Alinksy, Marshall Ganz is probably the best theoretical organizer today, he influenced Obama’s campaign very heavily...

Whether you know who Saul Alinsky is -- and what he stands for -- or not, Andrew McCarthy's description of his movement and its impact upon Obama bears repeating.

...the president is an Alinskyite, so steeped in the ideology of the seminal community organizer that he became a top instructor in Alinskyite tactics for other up-and-coming radicals...

...Alinksyites are fifth-column radicals. They have, in substance, the same goals as open revolutionaries: overthrowing the existing free-market republic and replacing it with a radical’s utopia. That’s why Obama could befriend such unrepentant former terrorists as Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, and take inspiration from Jeremiah Wright, a black-liberation theologist...

...But Alinskyites are more sophisticated, patient, and practical. They bore in, hollowing out the system from within, appropriating the appearance and argot of mainstream society. Their single, animating ambition is to overthrow the capitalist social order, which they claim to see as racist, corrupt, exploitative, imperialist, etc...

...Apart from that goal, everything else — from the public option to Afghanistan — is negotiable: They reserve the right to take any position on any matter, to say anything at any time, based on the ebb and flow of popular opinion. That keeps them politically viable while they radically transform society. Transform it into what, they haven’t worked out in great detail — except that it will be perfect, communal, equal, and just.

Alinsky proposed a variety of methods that radicals could use to tear American society apart. Violence was part of his equation.

Society has good reason to fear the Radical. Every shaking advance of mankind toward equality and justice has come from the Radical. He hits, he hurts, he is dangerous. Conservative interests know that while Liberals are most adept at breaking their own necks with their tongues, Radicals are most adept at breaking the necks of Conservatives...

...Radicals precipitate the social crisis by action - by using power... The Radical recognizes that constant dissension and conflict is and has been the fire under the boiler of democracy. He firmly believes in that brave saying of a brave people, "Better to die on your feet than to live on your knees!" ...

The Radical may resort to the sword but when he does he is not filled with hatred against those individuals whom he attacks. He hates these individuals not as persons but as symbols representing ideas or interests which he believes to be inimical to the welfare of the people... That is the reason why Radicals, although frequently embarking upon revolutions, have rarely resorted to personal terrorism"...

In short, Alinsky supported violence and terror to achieve the overthrow of American society.

And any person who runs under the banner of Alinsky should be disqualified from holding public office. They should be called precisely what they are: Communists.

There is no possible way that an adherent of Alinsky can sincerely take a pledge to uphold the Constitution.

Let me say that again, slowly, for the liberals: there is no valid method -- none whatsoever! -- for an Alinskyite to take a solemn oath to uphold the nation's highest law.

The Constitution is not a suicide pact. Allowing Alinskyites into positions of power is akin to permitting Nikita Khrushchev to name members of the cabinet during the height of the Cold War.

We need to call them what they are: Reds.

Memo to the Hillary Camp

Playing the race card didn't work for Howard Dean:

* In front of the Congressional Black Caucus, DNC chairman Howard Dean asked, "You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people of color in a single room? Only if they had the hotel staff in here.”

* Dean also said that Republicans... "all look the same. It's pretty much a white Christian party."

It didn't work for Donna Brazile:

* Vice President Al Gore's campaign chief, Donna Brazile, stunned observers when she remarked that Republicans would rather "take pictures with black children than feed them."

* Brazile also belittled two of the GOP's prominent personalities -- Gen. Colin Powell and Rep. J C. Watts -- as "tokens."

News flash for the Hillary camp: playing the politics of racial divisiveness won't work against your own party.

And belittling the contributions of Martin Luther King Jr. in order to score cheap political points against Barack Obama won't work. Ever.

That offhand remark just cost the Clinton Machine hundreds of thousands of votes and tens of millions of dollars. Perhaps Karl Rove was responsible. Or some other member of the nefarious "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy."

Copperheads: a flashback to the Democrats of 1864

Gateway Pundit has today's essential reading. Noting Howard Dean's quote --

When the other side's candidates get up, they look like the 1950s. And when they talk, they sound like they're from the 1850s.

-- GP goes medieval on Dean.

Democrats haven't changed a lick in 143 years as you can tell from this 1864 political cartoon by Thomas Nast.

...this very revealing 1864 campaign poster... described the uncanny comparisons to today's anti-war party:

1.) Showing the enemy soldier stronger and more resilient than our own. Here the Southern soldier (enemy) is upright and strong, the Northern (US) broken and dejected.
2.) The "useless war" on the tomb. Even then the pessimist couldn't see the righteousness of the conflict [against the scourge of slavery].
3.) The flag flown upside down in a distress display; even then they saw... only failure.
4.) The grieving widow.

...My, God! We know the outcome of that war, and if not for the strength and foresight of President Lincoln (and a new willingness for sacrifice from the soldiers) did the north come out victorious in the end. This poster was produced in 1864. The former battlefield failure General McClellan was running on the Democratic ticket as the peace promoter - a position opposite of the President... just like today.

...With the conclusion of the war in 1865 the Peace Democrats were thoroughly discredited. Most Northerners believed, not without reason, that Peace Democrats had prolonged war by encouraging the South to continue fighting in the hope that the North would abandon the struggle.

The Democratic party was not fit to run this country in 1864. And, the Democratic party is not fit to run this country today, either...

Dear Howard:

For over 164 years, the Democrat Party has proudly marched under the banner of weakness, surrender, and defeat. Hold your head high, loser.

Warmest Regards,

Doug
