Since the subject of downloading video clips has come up in relation to Fitna, here are a couple of tools that will let you download from just about any video sharing site:

With KeepVid, you paste in the URL of a page containing a video, and it gives you a link for downloading it directly. Simple. Also has a conversion feature, but I haven’t tried it.

Zamzar lets you download and convert to almost any format in one step; you get an email with the download URL of your processed file.
